The mission of yerushe is to renew, promote and build Yiddish culture, language and heritage with other established organizations in Minnesota.

Goals

1. To promote, sponsor and organize local Yiddish cultural programs, events, gatherings and language classes.
2. To facilitate Yiddish connections among people and communities.
3. To gather, catalog and disseminate Yiddish resources for local use.
4. To educate people and organizations interested in Yiddish heritage, language and culture.
5. To build cooperation, encouragement and mutual support among local Yiddish teachers and cultural leaders.
6. To proactively connect and collaborate with other group efforts offering Yiddish language, cultural and heritage opportunities.
